Scholarships for 2018 will be available in October.  (Scholarships are only available for students currently enrolled at the College)

The WA College of Agriculture Harvey invites current students to participate in its scholarship program.

The scholarship program is important as it  places a focus on and recognises outstanding achievement amongst individuals attending the College and encourages students to consider their future options.  Scholarships and awards are presented during the graduation ceremony.

Scholarships must be used to assist with the costs towards further studies at the College.

 

 

 

The following list identifies the current scholarships available to students attending the WA College of Agriculture at Harvey.  The scholarships are  subject to change from year to year.

 LP & JA Fryer - $500 Scholarship (Specific to Harvey)

Þ Awarded to a worthy Year 10 student who will be continuing in Year 11. 

 RAS Scholarship – Value $1500 for each campus of the WA College of Agriculture. (Specific to Harvey)

Þ Awarded to a deserving Year 11 student who demonstrates a potential of being involved in an accepted career in agriculture.  The prize is used to defray residential fees. 

 Friends of Harvey Agricultural College - $500  (Specific to Harvey )

Þ Awarded to a deserving Year 10 or 11 student intending to continue his/her education at Harvey Ag  College in any stream of study.  This scholarship stipulates a hardship provision and the recipient has the prize deducted from their school fees. 

 Farmwest  - $200  ( Specific to Harvey)

Þ Awarded to a deserving Year 11 student who has a significant interest in beef/dairy, intending to continue his/her education at Harvey Ag  College in any stream of study. Recipient has the award deducted from school fees or books. 

Harvey Agricultural Society Scholarship $500 ( Specific to Harvey campus)

Þ Awarded to a student in Year 11 who has undergone some difficulties but has used the opportunity afforded them to access agricultural education at the Residential College of Agriculture at Harvey.

Neville Munns Memorial Scholarships - $500 per Ag College Campus  (Specific to Harvey)

Þ Graduating student from Year 12.

Þ Recipient likely to take up shearing/wool handling.  The scholarship could go towards the Heineger Novice Pack –            Hand-piece/combs/cutters and moccasins.

 Alcoa—$500

Þ Awarded to a Year 10 or 11 student for achievement and a positive contribution to the College environment.

 WA Farmers-$500

Þ Awarded to a Year 12 student with a passion in Dairy, Beef or Sheep.

 Brunswick Agricultural Society—$1000

Þ Awarded to a Year 11 continuing into Year 12 who has selected Ag as their pathway with an intent to pursue a career in the industry.

Southern Districts Agricultural Society Busselton  -$500 each year at College

Þ Awarded to a worthy local Busselton student intending to continue his/her education at Harvey Ag College. Recipient has the award deducted from school fees or books. Closing date 30th  April each year.

 Harvey Bulls Football/Netball Club—$250 (x 2 ) each student

Þ Awarded to current year 10 or 11 student who currently plays football or netball for the Harvey Bulls, is community oriented  and shows commitment to school and the team (1 x male recipient, 1 x female recipient). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WA College of Agriculture - Harvey Business Plan 2013-2015.

Term Weekend stock Roster will be uploaded at the beginning of 2018.  Remember if you need to swap your weekend duty for valid reason, the Weekend Duty Swap form is available from the office. You will need to find someone to do a direct swap with from the same year. The swap is not permitted until it has been approved by Head of Residence, Mr Pfitzner and Mr Howell.
